Blog on The digital humanities

The digital humanities is new branch of study, for example earlier traditional approaches like history, philosophy , cultural studies etc. But it is a new in this fields.

·       What is digital Humanities?

The digital humanities is an area of research, technique and creation concerned with the intersection of computing and the disciplines of the humanities. developing from the field of  humanities computing, digital humanity embraces a variety of topics ranging from curating online collections to data mining large cultural data sets. Digital humanities currently incorporates both digitized and both digital and born digital materials and combines the methodologies from traditional humanities disciplines such as linguistic, literature, art. 

Finally today we see the simultaneous explosion of interests in e-reading and e-book devices like the kindle, ipad and nook and the advance of large scale texts digitization project.

After numeric input , text has been by far the most tracable datatype for the computers to manipulate. Unlike audio, video, and so on.
, there is  the long association between computers and compositions, almost as long and just as rich lineage.
